About Jobsmith

Every year, millions of students in India finish college and start looking for their first job. Most of the career tools they find online were built for someone else. The resume checkers expect a US resume. The salary calculators talk about gross pay in dollars. And the useful parts sit behind a monthly subscription priced in dollars too.

That felt wrong to me. A fresher in Indore or Coimbatore preparing for campus placements needs good advice just as much as anyone, and usually has less money to spend on it.

So I'm building Jobsmith: small, free tools that each answer one real question. What's my resume's ATS score for this job? What will I actually take home from a 6 LPA offer? What do I say when they ask me to introduce myself? When is my last working day?

What I won't compromise on

• Free for basic use. No signup walls and no trial that runs out.
• Built for India. CTC, notice periods, Naukri and campus placements. Not dollars and US job boards.
• Private. Your resume is processed in memory and never stored.
• Honest. The tools give you guidance, not guarantees. Nobody can promise you a job, and we won't pretend to.
