The short version

Jobsmith gives you free tools to help with your job search. They give guidance, not guarantees. Use them sensibly and check the results before you rely on them.

Using Jobsmith

• You can use the tools for free, with or without an account. We may set daily limits on free use.
• Use the tools for your own job search, or to help someone who has asked for your help.
• Don't misuse the service. No scraping, no automated requests and no attempts to break or overload it.
• Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, like someone else's resume without their permission.

Guidance, not guarantees

Our tools use rules and AI to make suggestions, and AI can get things wrong.

• An ATS score is an estimate. Every company sets up its hiring software differently.
• A salary calculation depends on the details you enter and on tax rules, which change.
• A good score or a polished answer can't guarantee an interview, a job or an offer.

Always check the results and make the final call yourself.

Be honest

Your resume and answers should describe your real experience. Don't use Jobsmith to create false documents or to mislead employers.

Your content

What you paste or upload stays yours. We use it only to give you a result, as explained in our privacy policy. The results are yours to use however you like.

Our content

The Jobsmith name, logo, design and guides belong to us. Please don't copy the site or present it as your own.

If things go wrong

We work hard to keep Jobsmith running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove tools at any time.

Jobsmith is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for decisions you make based on our tools, or for any loss that follows from them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using Jobsmith after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
