3 mistakes project coordinator resumes make

  1. “Coordinated with teams” and nothing more

    Give the scope: projects handled, contract value, number of vendors and the team sizes involved. Scale is what separates a coordinator from an assistant.

  2. No artefacts or tools

    Mention what you maintained: Gantt charts, RAID logs, weekly status reports, procurement trackers. These are the documents interviewers ask about.

  3. No delivery results

    Coordinators are judged on delivery. “Handed over 6 sites on time and within budget”, or an on-time percentage, tells them you can be relied on.
