Tell me about yourself: answer for MCA fresher
For an MCA fresher, interviewers expect more depth than from a graduate: a proper stack, some design thinking and an internship you can talk about. Show them you have already worked on code that other people depend on.

Sample from Divya, an MCA graduate from Kochi, in a campus interview
About 1 min 5 sec 152 words
Presentwho I am now
Good morning, I'm Divya Menon, and I've just completed my MCA at a university in Kochi. Java and Spring Boot are my main skills, and I've used PostgreSQL and Docker in my projects.
Pastwhat I have done
During my four-month internship at a logistics software company, I built a shipment-status API for their customer portal. I wrote the endpoints, added around forty unit tests and fixed two bugs the testing team found. Seeing my code go to the staging server and then to the live site taught me more than a whole semester of theory, because suddenly someone was waiting for it to work.
Futurewhy this role
I'm looking for an associate software engineer role where I can keep working on backend services. Your product handles payments at scale, and I'd like to learn how that is done safely. I can join immediately after my results, and I'm happy to take any training your team recommends before I start.
Short version
Three sentences, for when you're nervous.
I'm Divya, an MCA graduate from Kochi with Java and Spring Boot skills. In a four-month internship I built a shipment-status API with unit tests. I'd like to join as an associate software engineer.
3 things to include
Your internship role
Say what you owned, such as an API or a module, not just the company you sat in.
One engineering habit
Mention unit tests, code reviews or Docker. These tell a panel that you already code like a professional.
Why backend
A clear preference for backend or full stack shows you have thought about your direction.
2 things to avoid
Small-project stories only
Your degree is two years of extra depth, so don't describe only first-year-level programs.
Tools you've only read about
Kubernetes in a fresher answer invites a hard follow-up. Keep to what you have run yourself.
